Workplace Safety is a product of Netpower IT Group. We help HSE professionals with chemical inventory, risk assessment and access to safety data sheets, and Netpower handles the complete setup.
Built by Netpower
Workplace Safety is a product brand. The company behind it is not new. Netpower is a Norwegian IT company established in 1995. We have more than 30 years of experience developing, launching and operating our own solutions.
Our portfolio has evolved from websites and business systems to specialised software for quality, HSE and chemical management. The quality and HSE systems have been in daily use since 2010. Workplace Safety launched in 2020.

Ownership
Norwegian-owned, no outside investors
Erlend Bruvik has owned Netpower since 2006 and sets the long-term direction for the three companies. The group is built on Norwegian ownership, long-term thinking and close customer relationships: decisions are taken in Sandnes, and each company is free to specialise while sharing operations, product knowledge and standards.
Netpower IT Group has no external debt, a solid positive cash flow, and is not looking for investors. No venture capital and no outside pressure to raise prices or cut support. Profit goes back into the products and the people. We are not for sale, and we do not intend to be.
The three Sandnes companies are Netpower Business Solutions AS (Workplace Safety, Certain QMS, ChemCenter), Netpower WEB Solutions AS and Netpower IT Solutions AS. Headquarters, data centre and development sit at Stokkamyrveien 13, 4313 Sandnes.
A team that knows chemical inventory work
Workplace Safety is developed by a multidisciplinary team inside Netpower Business Solutions AS. The team combines chemical-management specialists, developers and the people who put the system into use.
As a customer you work directly with people who know both the product and the work it supports. Netpower configures the whole chemical inventory: structure, access, import of chemical data, training and follow-up. You bring knowledge of the organisation.

A Norwegian supplier, hosted in Norway
Headquarters are at Stokkamyrveien 13, 4313 Sandnes — office, data centre and development team under one roof. The Workplace Safety team sits here. Netpower has run its own servers for customers since 1995, and Workplace Safety is hosted in Netpower’s own data centre, just as then.
Data is stored in a private cloud in Norway. Two data-centre sites with off-site backup, primary Sandnes. The group also has offices in Oslo, Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Dhaka (Bangladesh).
Workplace Safety is built for Norwegian HSE work. The solution supports the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority’s requirements for chemical inventory, and is used by organisations on land in laboratories, municipalities, aquaculture and industry.
Netpower Business Solutions AS and Netpower IT Solutions AS are ISO/IEC 27001 certified. We follow the GDPR. Netpower Business Solutions AS is the data controller. Netpower IT Solutions AS is the processor.
